Abby graduated from Benedictine College with a bachelor of science degree in criminology in 2019 where she was a volleyball student-athlete. She then went on to attend Georgia Southern University where she graduated with a master of education degree in clinical mental health counseling in 2021 and worked as the graduate assistant for the volleyball team. Abby is a North Carolina board- certified licensed clinical mental health counselor associate (LCMHC-A).
Abby has a passion for helping people become the best version of themselves and improving their quality of life. She is interested in working with those who suffer from depression, anxiety, sexual violence, trauma, and women's issues. Abby is also interested in working with kids and adolescents and hopes to become certified in play therapy. Abby's therapeutic style comes from a cognitive behavioral therapy and person centered therapy approach, but utilizes an integrative approach to cater to each client’s needs.
Abby enjoys cooking, watching the food network, spending time with her family, and cheering on her hometown teams of the Kansas City Royals and the Kansas City Chiefs.
