Corday received her Master of Art in Licensed Professional Counseling from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. Corday has 2 years of counseling experience where she worked with a diverse group of clients in a non-profit program. Corday provided both individual and group therapy that tailored to the needs of the client. Corday has experience working with adolescents and adults from different cultural backgrounds and social economic status. Corday has worked with clients suffering from grief, trauma, generalized anxiety disorders, depression, mood disorders trauma and a multitude of behavior issues.
Corday’s approach to counseling is integrative and holistic, using techniques such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Corday is also strongly grounded in Person-Centered Therapy and believes in educating her clients on their diagnosis as well as the counseling process.
Before becoming a therapist Corday served in the Air Force for 8 years. Some of her hobbies include traveling and being a “foodie”.
