Jojo Hoffman Skinner, MA, LCAS-A
Jojo Hoffman Skinner is a 2020 Masters graduate from Pfeiffer University’s Marriage & Family Therapy program after earning her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Summa Cum Laude, from Argosy University. Jojo received her LCAS-A provisional license to better help those in her community of Concord, North Carolina in their fight with Substance Use Disorders.
During her time with Pfeiffer, Jojo served on the NCAMFT board for two years, and upon graduation transitioned into a position with the Pfeiffer Alumni Board.
Since graduation Jojo has worked with many populations, including individuals, couples, and groups who have struggled with addiction, depression, relationship strain, divorce behavioral issues, and grief. Jojo approaches her work with clients through the lens of Experiential, Narrative, and DBT.
Jojo currently works at Southlake Counseling in the Lake Norman area where she serves those with substance use issues and other types of addiction, and believes when clients feel understood, they will naturally begin to peel the onion and look at the internal layers they were previously unwilling to see.
