Jordyn Haney, MSW, LCSW-A
Jordyn is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker recognized by the NC Social Work Certification and Licensure Board. She graduated from Gardner-Webb University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and received her master's degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Jordyn has experience working with foster children, complex medical patients, trauma victims, sexual abuse victims, and more. She is passionate about helping people achieve their fullest potential to the best of their ability. Jordyn prides herself on being able to meet people where they currently are in life and works to view the individual as part of their entire environment.
Jordyn has a vast array of experience in medical settings, family settings, and multidisciplinary teams. Jordyn utilizes multiple therapeutic modalities, including play therapy, art therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy. Jordyn has also helped people with ADHD, Intellectual Disabilities, depression, generalized anxiety, and PTSD. Jordyn has experience with Post-Partum depression as well as the Autism spectrum population. Jordyn works with all ages, from three-years old and up.
Jordyn is excited to meet with you and explore different therapeutic skills and modalities to optimize not only your therapeutic experience, but your life! When out of the office, Jordyn likes to hangout outdoors and play with her Mini Shih-Tzu, Charlotte, aka “Charley”!
