Nick Mann, Counseling Intern
I am obtaining my master's degree from UNC Charlotte where I study Counseling with a focus in Clinical Mental Health. I enjoy working with adolescents and adults (age 16 and older), and have experience working in school and home settings, with both individuals and families. In my counseling work, I strive to create a safe space that facilitates personal exploration, and the promotion of deeper self-reflection and insight. In my Internship at Southlake Counseling, I am excited to continue working with clients through individual sessions and groups, while utilizing a combination of Person-Centered, Existential, and DBT/CBT approaches. Areas of focus that I am particularly interested in including grief and loss, anxiety, identity exploration, and life transitions.
