Travis Bradey graduated from Western Carolina University with a degree in Construction Project Management from the Kimel School of Engineering. His career served various areas of construction management, implementation, and execution before deciding to follow his passion for helping others and psychology. He obtain his masters from Lenoir Rhyne University in Hickory, NC.
Since becoming licensed in 2012, Travis, has worked with a variety of populations in various settings ranging from Clinical Program Director of a inpatient facility to Private Practice. Travis has experience working with individuals, families, and couples.
Travis’s approach to a session is to match evidenced based theory most appropriate for the presenting problem with the clients skill level and natural/existing strengths. Travis has a solutions focus in each and every session interaction. DBT; acceptance and commitment therapy; as well as the Gottman method are primary theoretical approaches ascribed to by Travis.
Travis spends his free time with his daughter, family, and friends. Travis enjoys traveling; open water diving; mountain biking; being in and around water; and finding great food
